Live Shows & Media Events are one of the best times to network and meet new professionals. As well as it been a professional atmosphere. You can get some fantastic pictures of people while they get to do what they love on a daily basis. Most people nowadays are on social media and it is a really good way to get yourself heard and seem from from your computer or device. Doing live TV or social media events can be challenging as at any given moment anything could happen, which you as the photographer need to be ready for. Sometime the days can be long but if you love what you do the time will fly by. My advice would be to take what you NEED not what you want!! Camera equipment can be heavy.. For example “Yes of course” your camera, your go to lens and lenses one wide, one zoom, a few memory cards, a flash, a little torch light {As if you are back stage behind the curtain it can be quite dark there} a light weight but durable tripod and of course extra batteries. {Sometimes less is more}
